Rigby Jerram Ecological Consultants can provide high quality ecological input into Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and has experience of Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) for road schemes, quarries, residential and commercial developments.
We conduct baseline surveys and can co-ordinate teams of specialist surveyors for input to Ecology Chapters of Environmental Statements.
We have considerable experience in identifying and evaluating potential ecological impacts arising from proposed developments and follow the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM) Guidelines for Ecological Impact Assessment.
We have experience Appropriate Assessments and the detailed ecological analysis required for developments which may impact upon internationally important wildlife sites (SACs, SPAs and Ramsar sites).
Rigby Jerram Ecological Consultants can provide initial screening of development proposals to see whether there are likely to be any significant ecological issues; provide advice on how project decisions may be affected by significant ecological issues; assist developers in the design of mitigation measures for any ecological impacts identified; and provide graphics and GIS analysis to illustrate the issues identified.
